Brazilian model Jeísa Chiminazzo was born on April 12th, 1985 in Muçum, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Although she was born in Brazil, her parents are of Italian and German descent.
Jeísa was discovered at the age of thirteen by a Brazilian actor who refered her to a modeling agency.
She spent one year doing local modeling jobs, then her career took off when she signed with IMG Models in New York and began appearing in the Italian editions of fashion magazines like Elle and Marie Claire.
This five foot nine and a half inch tall beauty is probably most famous here in the US for being featured in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and doing runway walks at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Thought not yet in the same catagory as some of the more famous Brazilian supermodels (like Adriana Lima, Gisele Bündchen or Alessandra Ambrosio), Jeisa is considered one of the top runway models of today.
