Maribel Guardia

Costa Rican actress Maribel Guardia was born on May 29, 1959 (yes she is 50 years old!) in (of course) Costa Rica.
In 1978, she won the Miss Costa Rica pageant, and then went on to represent Costa Rica at the Miss World and Miss Universe (she won Miss Photogenic there) contests.
Maribel moved to Mexico in 1980, and she appeared in her first television show that same year, alongside Manuel "El Loco" Valdés.
She has also released several Norteña (also known as norteño or conjunto) music albums.
Since her debut, she has appeared on over fifty TV shows and telenovelas in Mexico.
Maribel lived with Mexican singer and songwriter Joan Sebastian for five years, and together they had one son.
She moved to Miami, Florida in 2009 with her son.
The Mexican Media has deservedly nicknamed her "La Bella", and you have got to admit, this lady looks pretty amazing at 50.
From looking at her pics, I swear this woman has some of the best abs in the business.

Sofía Vergara - Modern Family

I am finally starting to watch the ABC comedy "Modern Family" that has among it's cast members the breath-taking Sofía Vergara.
You know, not only is this woman beautiful, but she can act as well.
She really is a good comedian with excellent comic timing.
On the show she plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, who is married to family patriarch, Jay Pritchett (Married With Children's Ed O'Neil).
Gloria is loving, protective and loyal to her family and down right vicious to anyone that crosses her.
On the show (as well as in real life) Gloria is from Colombia, and there have been a few Colombian crime jokes.
And in real life, there seems to be some tension between Sofia and one of her co-stars, Julie Bowen.

By the way, did you know that Sofia and Shakira are from the same town in Colombia?
Yep, birth were born in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Brazilian Supermodel Raica Oliveira

Beautiful Brazilian model Raica Oliveira was born on January 22nd, 1984 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Raica was discovered by the same talent agent that discovered fellow Brazilian model, Gisele Bundchen, Sergio Mattos.
Who is this guy?
After winning the 1999 Elite Model Look contest in Brazil, Raica went to the finals in Nice, France, coming in second. (Vika Sementsova from the Ukraine won that year).
Raica is the best friend of another Brazilian supermodel, Adriana Lima (picture that...)and she once dated Brazilian professional footballer Ronaldo, who also dated another Brazilian model, Daniela Cicarelli.
I think Ronaldo is trying to date every supermodel in the world.
During her career, she has worked for companies like Lancome, Marie Claire magazine, Dior, Elle magazine, Yves Saint Laurent and Victoria's Secret.
